Biberburg Grand Opening July 9th
After 1.5 years of construction, the time had finally come! Austria’s largest flume ride, the Biberburg, was officially opened on July 9th!
A press event with speeches by our managing director Filip de Witte and state councillor Daniela Winkler took place until around 1 p.m. The evangelical pastor Mag. Claudia Schörner from the parish of Rust then blessed the ride. The event was accompanied by a dance performance by Shad Performance and DJ Pauli.
In the afternoon, Pauli Biber, Filippo and the funny stilt walkers were out and about in the park for our guests and handed out ponchos. In addition, there were pop-up show acts by magician Patrick Kulo and Shad Performance. In a giveaway, guests could win a Biberburg ride with Pauli Biber.
After this great day, it’s time to say: The Biberburg is open!
