Season 2025New Restaurant Experience
On September 2, 2024, construction work began on our new restaurant at Familypark! The old Filippo Restaurant is making way for an exciting new medieval-themed restaurant, set to open in summer 2025. During the construction period, the Dragon Ride (Drachenbahn) and the Swamp Castle (Sumpfburg) will have to remain temporarily closed.We’ll do our best to ensure that the construction doesn’t affect your experience at Familypark.

Why has the old Filippo Restaurant been demolished?
The new construction became necessary because the current “Filippo Restaurant” is no longer up-to-date for guests or optimal operation and can’t accommodate the increasing number of visitors with enough seating. The new restaurant will be much larger, with over 700 square meters of space and a spacious terrace, offering room for an open self-service concept. Additionally, there will be an indoor kid’s play area, a nursing room and a separate room for corporate events.

What can I expect from the new restaurant?
The new restaurant in the theme world “Erlebnisburg” will be designed in the style of a medieval castle, transporting you into a medieval world with its atmospheric theming both indoors and outdoors. With over 260 indoor and 220 outdoor seats, it will offer plenty of space for a pleasant lunch in a unique setting starting in summer 2025.
